Blue Wigwam, provided a team of 20 ecologists to carry out preliminary ecological survey work for HS2 phase 2a - West Midlands to Crewe & Phase 2b - Crewe to Manchester and West Midlands to Leeds. The surveys consisted mainly of protected species including; dawn and dusk bat surveys, bat roost surveys, badger set surveys, GKN pond surveys and water vole surveys and phase 1 surveys.
